You have only a flashlight to protect yourself. It will scare away things that may be creeping at the far end of the hallways, but be careful, and listen. If something has crept too close, then shining lights in its eyes will be your end. Five Nights at Freddy’s 4 is one of the most stressful and memorable games in the series for me. Instead of using cameras , I had to rely on sound and small visual cues. The game really tested my nerves. I remember leaning closer to the screen just to hear breathing at the doors. I would often panic and slam the doors shut too early or hesitate and get jumpscared. The bedroom setting made it even scarier, turning a familiar space into something unsafe. The Nightmare animatronics seemed more brutal and unpredictable than anything I had faced before. It wasn’t just about quick reactions, it was also about patience and trusting my instincts.
